New Kelly Clarkson…YAY!
Its 2:30am and I can’t sleep YAY! o.o However, I found this new KC video called “Dark Side” and I totally love it.
Drop. Dead. Diva. My second favorite show
I am so elated right now. I cannot. I have so many happy feelings.
Um, This Pretty Much Sums It Up
I. love. Rita. Ora. Also, I am dancing in my chair because I finally wrote more to my Sense and Sensibility essay. Also, I have grown to love the word “Bull$***”
Homework
Have you ever had so much homework that you just sit there unsure where you should begin? This is me currently. Oh, and it wouldn’t be so bad if my mentor didn’t tell me to watch Sherlock because now I want to sit and watch it and do no work.
I literally have 10-15 things I need to do…some that can wait so I can set those aside, however I still have a crap load of work to do and I am so tired I just want to make run on sentences and sing the theme song to Golden Girls.
Oh and I have disturbed life for some of my peers at school because I was not in my usual study spot on Tuesday afternoon and today I arrived late. Completely confused people. It was awesome. With that being said I found one more thing to distract me. After that I am considering resting tonight and starting fresh tomorrow!

Troubadour
I love you with all of my heart and
within the deepest part of my soul.
Nothing in life is as satisfying
as to see your beautiful smile.
To look in to your heavenly eyes
is to see heaven, itself.
A day without you
is a lifetime without sunshine.
When you are absent from me
I feel the weight of my heart bearing down upon my body.
I will walk to wherever you are
just to be in your warmth again.
I wait on a silent prayer
sent up to heaven by the angelic voice
of a troubadour, long ago.
My love for you has existed
even before my flesh was formed.
If I denied the desire I have to hold you,
my own spirit would speak out against me.
I feel so deeply within my heart
because you are the other half of my soul.
And when you finally reach out in to the darkness for me
it will be the happiest day of my life.
Mon cœur, mon âme, ma beauté, mon amour
Oh Charles, You Are A Sneaky Bugger!
So, I went to BJ’s for lunch today…super yummy…especially the dessert
Anyways….afterwards we went to Barnes and Noble and I literally spent way too much time in there. However, Charles Dickens somehow snuck in to my shopping bag!!! Also, a nifty notebook and a “listing” book….I wish I had time to read this book now, but 817 pages is kind of like…huge…especially when you have other reading material, a research paper and a scholarship essay to write!!!
Me, Use a Downton Abbey Quote in the Title of an Essay? NEVER! … OK, Yes.

My Sense and Sensibility Essay for Brit Lit: Don’t Be a Defeatist, Dear: The Marriage of Sense and Sensibility … crap. I think the second half is supposed to be in italics…son of a gun!!! Oh well, the essay rocked anyways
Me, the Feminist…
I was just called a feminist because I support Obama’s belief that women can make their own decisions and that women should be paid equally to men…and by a woman which is just freaking crazy! Why do women feel so subjected to be lesser-than? Is it just easier to do as your told? Pardon me for wanting a voice and believing that even you, crazy lady, deserve the right to make your own choices. Geesh. And yes, by definition I am a feminist….and I am proud of it! Women have been spat upon for far too long, and in modern times they have been spat upon in a very discreet way. You can continue being spat upon, crazy lady, but I refuse to sit by and let the rights of future women be strangled by the likes of you!

Tomorrow has arrived and I feel FINE!
Happy Sunday to all of my viewers. Many people don’t check out this section, which is fine. Nevertheless I still like to update it! I cannot believe how many people have checked out my new “how to” list! I am super happy!
Also, I wanted to share some pictures from my day yesterday in Seal Beach! I did a 5K walk and had a really great day with my youngest son, David. I was 434th out of 899 walkers (5,500 total participants) and 25th out of 85 in my age group! Here are some pics:

The first item I was given when I got there was my bib. It was fate. My number was 1379…I was born on 11/13/79…I was pleased!
Tomorrow I Will Move Forward, But Today I Am Feeling Defeated
I was nominated over the winter break for Student of Distinction at my college. I felt so honored because I really work hard to balance my time between school and my family. I have a 4.0 and I think most of my professors think highly of me. I try to be kind to everyone, and I love going to school. But today, receiving the letter telling me I did not win has just hit me in the gut. I know being nominated is an honor, but for today I am going to deal with my emotions…tomorrow I will put my pride back together. The Dowager Countess would be appalled….and then tell me not to be a defeatist…but the old lady will have to let me be for a day!
Childe Harold’s Pilgrimage By Lord Byron
I am so excited. When I got home from school last night I had mail…special mail. I am now the proud owner of an 1847 First US Edition of Childe Harold. If this seems minor to you, the reader, it would be beneficial for you to know I love several things: literature, history, antiques. I took some pictures and made a collage of my new treasure!
Getting My British On
I cannot truly express the feelings I have at the discovery of this beauty at my local Ross store. I do not know what to do with it, but who cares?!?! I love it!
Introduction
I figured I could at least introduce myself for all those who have already visited my fan page…thank you by the way! For my “Be the Change” followers, you already know me and I thank you for following me over to this page!
My name is Dianna, obviously. I am a 30-something woman, wife, mother, student, and as I like to say (as of 2 days ago) a “Downton Diva.” I love many things, especially literature, art, music and fabulous TV shows like DA.
I do not spend all my time on the web, as I do enjoy being outside. However, during the semester I see the sun in very small spans of time due to my large amount of homework! I am especially inspire this semester because I am taking the second half of British Literature at school and I LOVE IT! I have yet to take the first half, but since I seem to do everything backwards I don’t seem to think it will be much of a problem!
I read all sorts of books, more romance than anything else. I love most of the periods of literature, medieval and romantic more so than others. I love all music, from Beethoven to Gotye. I enjoy art so much. This fact about myself is something I found was quite surprised with, but it’s true. I enjoy the peace that comes with a museum in itself and all of the art it holds-be it paintings, sculptures, etc. I also love the outdoors-the beach specifically. I feel very inspired when I sit in front of this massive ocean that has no real end. It’s both terrifying and breathtaking.
I love my kids. They are my world and they are the reason I smile. I really don’t have many close friends-but the friends I do have are priceless to me.
I love school. I cannot even tell you how much I desire to learn. I love being challenged and I am very fortunate to have the opportunity to attend school!
And obviously-I love Downton Abbey!

Thank you, Dianna. I really enjoy reading your Downton Abbey webpage. I think it is marvelous and you can count on me visiting and commenting on the season 3 episodes.
